projects

Our passion and drive have been instrumental to the success of numerous projects both domestically and all around the world.
All of those projects have different characteristics, different background stories and different specific requirements.
But each and every one of them embodies our whole experience.
They are all unique.
From industrial hangars to high-bay warehouses, from bold suspension bridges to glass skyscrapers in the world’s largest cities, we have realised more than 2000 projects over the years.
The following selection showcases our various areas of competence.

Steel and façade constructions for the new Dynafit headquarters

Planned by the renowned architecture firm Barozzi-Veiga in Barcelona, this project created a new home for the mountain sports equipment manufacturer Dynafit in Kiefersfelden. PICHLER projects internally produced, supplied and installed all steel and façade components used in the spectacular building. A one-stop approach is highly beneficial for complex construction projects such as this, involving high geometric requirements and complex interfaces. It ensures an optimal outcome while maximising cost efficiency.

The total surface area of the high-grade building envelope spans around 6,000 square metres: approximately 1,650 square metres of glass roof plus 4,350 square metres of mounted, ventilated sheet metal façades.

The cladding of the new Dynafit building is divided into two sections: the tilted surfaces of the two towers feature a faceted steel-and-glass roof structure with mounted, perforated aluminium shaders. The steel structure was prefabricated at the PICHLER factory, using the ladder construction technique, and expertly installed on site. A steel attachment system was used for the glazing, with the local fixtures for the shading panels integrated. The vertical exterior walls were realised in the form of ventilated aluminium sheet façades using the same faceted geometry as the two towers. They, too, feature integrated shaders. This ensures a uniform appearance across all parts of the façade. The complex geometry of the building makes the construction project particularly challenging, as the details of the corner cladding require considerable experience and specialist expertise.
